Un’eredità a Specchio è un ricordo senza fine
Il percorso di Specchio dei tempi ha radici profonde nelle eredità e nei legati che i nostri amici ci affidano nel momento del commiato. Noi, nel loro ricordo, ci impegniamo sempre a trasformare i loro desideri in qualcosa di concreto, di tangibile. Seguendo le indicazioni, quando ci sono, e impegnandoci, quando la destinazione è generica, a fare in modo che nemmeno un euro resti per strada. Che ogni risorsa, anche quella più piccola, vada a fare un bene grande.
Chi ci ha dato fiducia troverà modo di saperlo anche dove è ora. Sentiamo forte questa responsabilità e ci impegniamo ogni giorno, fermandoci soltanto per dire grazie. Grazie a Clelia. A Carla, a Laura, a Luisa, ed a Giovanni, e ai tanti altri che lasciando questa terra si sono ricordati di Specchio dei tempi. Siamo felici di aver realizzato i vostri sogni.

How we make the dreams of those who are no longer here come true
Every day thousands of children are treated in the wards of the Regina Margherita, the paediatric hospital in Turin, one of the four Italian paediatric centres of truly international importance, along with the Bambin Gesù in Rome, the Gaslini in Genoa and the Meyer in Florence. Here we first renovated the outpatient clinics on the ground floor, then the entire sixth floor of the Heart Block (Cardiology, CPR, Cardiac Surgery) and finally Neuropsychiatry. All this thanks to CLELIA.

For three years we have been following 100 mothers in difficulty who have lost their jobs or faced serious illnesses and have to raise their children alone. The project is called “Mothers and children” and has the aim of supporting poor single-parent families, so as to guarantee them financial support for a few months, offering a break, a moment to take a breath, a moment of serenity to those forced into a daily struggle to survive. All this thanks to LAURA.

In Turin, we are at the side of the sisters of Casa Santa Luisa in the provision of Breakfasts for the Poor (over 40,000 every year), of which we take on the full burden. Tangible help for hundreds of homeless people, who receive what is often the only meal of the day for them. What’s more, we can also offer showers, medical visits and psychological support. All this thanks to LUISA and GIOVANNI.
